Orgasol^® powder in composites and structural adhesives

Avoid delamination in interlayered carbon fiber/epoxy composites 

Crack propagation at the epoxy resin/carbon fiber interface reduces the strength of fiber-reinforced laminates. To solve the problem, Orgasol® powder can be used as a toughening agent to limit the crack propagation in the resin inter-laminar region. Due to its narrow and controlled particle size distribution, Orgasol® Polyamide powder also maintains the thickness of the inter-laminar region during the process that builds the composite structure.

Orgasol® Polyamide Powders also help to limit crack propagation in the structural adhesive improving the mechanical strength.
