PLATAMID® HX 2507 PELLET
PLATAMID® HX 2507 PELLET is a thermoplastic copolyamide hot melt adhesive. This alcohol soluble copolyamides is particularly well suited for coating solutions. It offers good film forming properties, excellent abrasion resistance and good adhesion to both metallic and non-metallic surfaces. The main feature of this product is the ability to form stable solutions after dissolving in lower aliphatic alcohols, such as: - Methanol - Ethanol - Propanol / Isopropanol - Butanol / Isobutanol - or mixtures of these as well as in higher boiling alcohols, such as: - Benzyl alcohol - Cyclohexanol Aromatic hydrocarbons, like xylene, or Solvesso®, can be added at concentrations up to 20 to 30 parts by weight. These hydrocarbons do not interfere with dissolution, and improve storage stability. Solubility in conventional lacquer solvents such as ketones, esters or ethers is negligible. All PLATAMID® grades are compatible in solution. This allows blending to achieve special effects. This grade is available undried (HX 2507 F).

PLATAMID® HX 2632 PELLET is a thermoplastic copolyamide hot melt adhesive. This very low melt viscosity grade is particularly suitable for manufacturing of of of webs, nets, mono- and multi-filaments by extrusion and then converted into very high viscous product providing additional properties as the bonding temperature resistance. A controlled activation of crosslinking reactions can be achieved during a processing step by various means such as peroxides, UV and e-beams. It offers a very good adhesion at low fusing conditions to various kind of polar substrates (thermoplastics, thermosets, metal, natural fibers, etc.). This product is available undried with optical brightener (HX 2632 FA).
