During Mido, taking place from April 30 to May 2 in Milan (Italy), Arkema will exhibit its unique range of high-performance materials serving the eyewear industry. As a global pioneer in advanced polyamide 11 materials derived 100% from renewable castor seeds, Arkema will be showcasing its latest innovations in terms of advanced bio-circular materials. Arkema will also reveal several new products and strategic partnerships with key players throughout the supply chain to highlight the unique advantages of additive manufacturing.

RILSAN® POWDER RESINS FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING

With a dedicated offer for 3D printing technologies, Arkema is actively working together with partners to provide the eyewear industry with Rilsan® powder resins used to produce customized and unique high performing parts. 

Our Partner Materialise, the leader in 3D printed eyewear, will be present on our booth to showcase a collection of 3D printed frames in PA 11 and the Eyewear Fitting Suite for custom frames. Rilsan® PA11 offers excellent properties for eyewear applications - flexible and light weight, with high impact resistance. The translucency to the finish results in beautiful pastel tones, and intense dark tones. You can also experience a demonstration at the Eyewear Fitting Suite, with a 3D facial scan that can create custom-fit eyewear tailored to your unique features.
