PEBAX® MH 1657
Polyether block amide pellet
Product overview
PEBAX® MH 1657 is a polyether block amide, a thermoplastic elastomer made of flexible polyether and rigid polyamide. This hydrophilic grade, when extruded into either a thin film or laminated on to a substrate, offers excellent permeability to moisture vapor while remaining waterproof. PEBAX® MH 1657 is an inherently dissipative polymer and can be dry blended or compounded with an isolative polymer to lower the surface resistivity of the final part.

Pebax® elastomers family
Pebax® elastomers are a family of lightweight, high-performance thermoplastic elastomers known for exceptional energy return, flexibility, and cold-temperature durability. These block copolymers combine polyamide rigidity with polyether elasticity, providing a wide spectrum of properties without plasticizers. Pebax® elastomers are the preferred materials in sports applications, such as footwear and ski boots for their low weight and dynamic performance. Additionally, the Pebax® Rnew® range incorporates bio-based content derived from castor oil, offering more sustainable options with similar performance.
