Enhanced Mechanical Performance for Demanding Applications
HP 3D HR PA 11 Gen2 delivers consistently high mechanical properties, improved repeatability, and enhanced dimensional accuracy. The material supports an optimized powder reusability ratio (80/20), contributing to lower production costs and reduced waste. Compared to its predecessor, HP 3D HR PA 11, this new formulation enables broader application potential across sectors such as automotive, healthcare, and consumer goods.
HP 3D HR PA 11 Gen2 represents a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering sustainable, cost-effective, high-performance solutions for additive manufacturing. This material empowers our customers to produce durable parts more efficiently and responsibly.
Sustainability Rooted in Renewable Chemistry
Derived entirely from castor oil, Rilsan® PA11 contains 100% renewable carbon. The castor plants used are cultivated in semi-arid regions, contributing to responsible sourcing and land use. The material offers a 20–30% reduction in carbon footprint on final parts compared to previous PA11 grade, supporting manufacturers in their sustainability goals.
HP 3D HR PA 11 Gen2 is now available through HP’s Multi Jet Fusion platform, offering manufacturers a reliable and eco-efficient solution for high-performance part production.
Bringing bio-based, low-carbon materials to additive manufacturing reflects Arkema’s core strategy of enabling sustainable innovation through advanced materials. It is our mission to support industries in their transition toward more responsible production.
