Kynar® PVDF and Kynar Flex® PVDF are strong and chemically resistant fluoropolymers available in the form of pipe, tubing, fittings, valves, pumps, tower packing and semi-finished products such as rods, sheets, and slabs. In addition to the standard product line, Arkema also offers Kynar® Foam (for lower density) and Kynar® UHM (a glass-reinforced product for increased strength and high creep resistance). The Kynar® product line is commonly used in heavy chemical-handling industries like chlor-alkali process, pulp & paper, nuclear, wastewater treatment, mining, metal preparation, power plants, petrochemical, biopharma and semiconductor industries where commodity plastics and metals fall short in chemical and temperature resistance. Pebax® elastomers and Rilsan® PA11 are also excellent polyamide solutions for applications like tubing where strength and long-term resilience are required. For ultra-high performance, our team will also promote Kepstan® PEKK.
